Josh Woodcock is a Project Management Institute Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) with outstanding professional experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Project Manager, Application Architect, and Executive Consultant. At his most recent engagement with USAA, he drove technology solutions development and implementation for distributed Scrum teams with projects worth over $25 million dollars.

Before he began working with USAA, Josh was a Scrum Master and Project Manager for DataApple.com. While there, he led a team of 10 and coordinated technical and business requirements for 7 offshore teams. His most notable achievements included personally developing two patent-pending technologies and producing a software-as-a-service application with an estimated $1 million value from the ground up on a budget of $100k.

Josh has completed numerous freelance projects for major corporate clients including Burger King, Hermosa Patient Media, South Florida Tours, and CF Online. He developed a 12,000-prospect database and automated social media content creation across more than 50 sites on behalf of 8 dental company clients for Hermosa Patient Media. Additionally, he guided a client in restructuring from multiple distributed teams to dedicated co-located teams.

Josh possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Computer Information Systems, obtained in 2012 from the University of Miami. He is experienced with a wide array of development tools and software applications. His core competencies include full life cycle project management, application release management, and technical team leadership.

Josh’s most recent engagement was with USAA Federal Savings Bank serving as an Agile Coach in their Agile transformation process.
